Richard Beckley

When I first met Nathan Tepus, I was a complete mess. It was back in January 2022 when I injured my back, and life took a tough turn. I had to step away from powerlifting, and the pain left me demotivated and lost. What’s incredible is that even before Nathan became my coach, he was there to support me, constantly trying to boost my spirits with his advice.

So, when I made the decision to come back to powerlifting, I knew I had to have Nathan as my coach. He had all the qualities I was searching for. Our journey together started off pretty rough. There were many ups and downs as we worked through my injury. What made Nathan stand out was his openness. He never put me down and always valued my input when we were designing our training programs. It took time, but we eventually figured out the right training split and volume that worked for me. Since then, I’ve not only beaten my personal records from before my injury but also found a deep sense of happiness in the process.

Nathan isn’t just a coach; he’s a kind, responsive, adaptable, and smart friend. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to share this journey and communication with.
